You'll have the opportunity to experience some of the best roads on the planet, full of curves and twists, and draped with incredible mountain and lake scenery. For those of you who'll travel to the event from the USA or other provinces you'll have the opportunity to experience "pre-Escape" and "post-Escape" self driving tours on your way to Sun Peaks which promise to be unforgettable and certainly worth the drive!

People who've attended past Canada West Weekends can attest that the food provided by our Escape 2010 Host Hotel, the Delta Sun Peaks Hotel and Resort, is truly top notch! We'll have themed buffets as well as a "gala dinner" that will satisfy the most discriminating palates. Pair that with local Okanagan wines or specialty German beers and you get the picture!

No, it's not the dreaded "Concours" and you will not see judges crawling under your car! This is an opportunity to display your precious Porsche for all to see on the cobblestone walks of an amazing alpine village (those who've been to Vail Colorado can appreciate the setting) while you have a laid back morning admiring other Porsches and chatting with friends. The local community truly embraces this event and many drive up the mountain to see the "Porsches."

Play the resort's spectacular 18 hole course! Watch your ball fly at 4000 feet! This promises to be a great event. Texas Scramble format, zero competition, and special happenings at selected holes around the course to promote the "fun" in the event!

You are in THE region to taste world class wines, many of which are "unobtanium" outside of BC as production is so small. Cheese, local and glorious will give a different meaning to your traditional "wine and cheese!"

For the gear-head in you, what's an event without a little tech session? We'll offer some alternate sessions including tips on polishing your car (that'll be for your Parade prep only!) as well as some traditional stuff.

Every year our gala event features a renowned guest speaker who informs and entertains, sharing stories from days past and current. For PCA Escape 2010 we're excited to announce our guest speaker is Joe Lawrence, CEO of Porsche Canada.

Along with the team from the Sun Peaks Resort we will be working hard to offer alternative activities for those of you who want to park your Porsche in the underground garage and perhaps hike the alpine meadows or try one of the many other activities that an environment such as this has to offer.

What's an event without a memento? We'll be offering a variety of Escape 2010 logo items available either pre-ordered or purchased at the event. Our logo design for this year, as you can tell, will feature very nicely on a shirt or a hat!
